Gs Pay Scale 2023 Reno Nv – The Office of Personnel Management has released the 2023 GS regional pay scale following the 2023 federal wage increase announcement. Which general salary range is best for next year’s total salary?

As previously announced, there is a 4.1 percent increase in the basic salary, and an additional 0.5 percent will be used for local payments. This means that some areas will be higher than others. Here is the 2023 regional salary table for each level and step in each region.

Federal employees in these GS paid areas will receive the highest pay in the following year. Here are the top 10 regions with the highest regional pay rates in 2023:

Amusement Today, January 2023

The law requires a two-part GS wage adjustment in January of each year and based on surveys by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

As required by law, BLS conducts local wage surveys in local areas designated by the President’s Paying Agent as local wage areas, as well as survey data representing non-Federal wages (including states and regions) at various levels of activity.

Because job level comparisons require different job levels, starting salaries for GS jobs are compared to starting salaries for non-federal jobs at the same job level, and so on.

In local pay programs, federal pay is compared to federal pay for the same level of work. The results of such salary evaluations can be found in the annual report of the salary council and the annual report of the presidential salary representative.

The 2023 regional payment area will be the same with the addition of Carroll County, Illinois as an “application area,” Davenport-Moline, Iowa-Illinois, and Brook County, Texas. Apply in the Corpus Christi-Kingsville-Alice, Texas local pay area.

The Governor’s Disburser has approved the addition of the following counties to the Governor’s Disburser’s approval as new regional disbursers:

The Council’s proposed changes to consider neighboring areas as ‘applicable areas’ could add more urban areas and one area to the existing urban fee area. All of these changes add about 32,000 federal employees to the GS regional payroll system, according to a release from the Office of Personnel Management.
