Opm Salary Levels – This OPM pay scale splits pay into four categories that are dependent on the team member’s status within the government. The table below shows how the basic schedule OPM utilizes to calculate its national team member’s pay scale, taking into consideration next year’s the projected 2.6 percent across-the-board increase. There’s three distinct categories within the federal gs level. However, not all agencies adhere to all three categories. For example both the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DOD) is not using the same categories system. Though they share an identical General Schedule OPM uses to determine the amount of pay their employees receive however, they use different structure for government gs levels.
